If you are making your own tube clamps you should also have the ability to measure the tube diameter yourself. If you are buying them, the producer of these clamps has already figured out this dimension and will provide the proper ones. In conclusion, I should add that this thread has little merit.

My favorite carry gun is the ever reliable Smith&Wesson Model 10. Mine is the 2" nickle version with Hogue grips. When loaded with 115gr. .38 +P JHP's I have a real stopper with very manageable recoil. Most calibers, from .22mag to .45ACP will do the job in the hands of a defense minded trained shooter. Any headshot will stop anyone. It's not the gun or the cartridge, but the shooter.

I will be "Stimulated" when I once again see smoke coming from the stacks of factories again. I grew up in Detroit. As a child I could count the number of snowfalls by the layers of soot that lay between the layers of snow. When the enviromental wackos decided that this was a bad thing and politicians concurred, it was the death knell for munufacturing in our country. Until production of consummer goods returns to the U.S.A. we will continue on our current economic path to disaster. Al Gore, and his fellow travelers, are nothing more than traitors to the country and should be tried for treason.

I believe that the neutron bomb, like the EMP bomb, is still mouldering away in our arsenal of options. Whether or not we choose to use either is doubtful with our having a Muslim indoctrinated individual in the White House.
