NEXT NUCLEAR [NUCULAR IF YOUR INITIALS ARE G.W.B.] TEST

I PREDICT THAT THE NEXT AIR TEST OF A NUCLEAR DEVICE WILL BE CONDUCTED BY EITHER THE U.S. OR ISRAEL, AND WILL TAKE PLACE OVER IRAN. ANYONE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT?

You don't? :S

Some things are too vile for humor.

Source for carbon fiber tubing

Dan Lamoreaux said:

Does anyone know a source for large diameter carbon fiber tubing? I am in need of some with a 9" o.d. for a ongoing scope project.

Thanks in advance,
Dan Lamoreaux

Hi Dan:

I was hoping to see someone else answer your question... I would like to find a large diameter carbon fiber tube for a project as well. The only place I have found that makes suitable tubes is here:

I am sure the tubes are world class, but they are kind of budget breakers.

ILLEGAL BEDBUGS

Posted By James Brown

Ron Streetenberger said:

I would imagine that most of you thinkers out there have already figured this one out. When our priciest hotels and motels are becoming infested, I can't blame it on the guests.
There is also a reappearance of once conquered diseases and a dramatic increase in crime to think about. Are cheap lawn and nanny care really cost effective? Even when your children and grandchildren are presented with ever-increasing risk from so many factors?

Why can't you blame it on the guests Ron? Bedbugs are blind to wealth, status and class, unlike yourself. If you want to blame bedbugs on the Mexican maid, quit being coy and blame it on the maid.

You would be wrong of course, but don't let entomology get in the way of a good rant.

Upscale types who enjoy cheap world travel, for business or pleasure are far more likely than the maid to carry bedbugs into fancy hotels. Bedbugs would much rather travel in dark luggage than on the clothing of a wide-awake person moving about in broad daylight. There is lots of good scientific information about bedbugs and their habits only a Google click away.

Regarding your third point... umm, what dramatic increase in crime?

Finally, what particular diseases do you claim the illegals are bringing back to the U.S.? Any epidemiological data to back this up?

You might consider that your xenophobic scapegoating distracts attention away from legitimate concerns about illegal immigration.

The right-wing and Eris

I thought I would post this blog concerning the naming of Eris and Dysnomia.

http://www.mikejanitch.com/blog/_archives/2006/9/13/2324696.html

Apparently right-winger Mike Janitch believes the names were chosen as a protest about the war in Iraq...

If this is the best and brightest that the right-wing of USA politics can produce....

Regards,

Maurice

Maurice:

What in the solar system could have possibly even remotely lead you to conclude that a sole blogger is the best and the brightest voice that right wing US politics can produce?

I would recommend Buckley, Will, Freidman, Sowell and many others for your reading. Perhaps you simply avoid intelligent well articulated and conservative voices because they don't fit your world view?

p.s.

Check out the blog-photo of your best and brightest Blogger on Key West with the boat drink Maurice; he is at best 22 years old!

How did you ever stumble upon him. Did you google "best and brightest right wing voice in America" or something to that effect?

Bush's Approval Rating Escalating

Posted By James Brown

Hi Rod:

There is an uncanny inverse correlation between W's approval rating and the consumer gasoline price index:

Who knows if the correlation reflects causation, but it is pretty amazing.
