I've been at the computer a lot because we are in the middle of a light, but really persistent 3+ day snow "event". Hardly qualifies as a storm. This has given me the opportunity to rail here against friends and pundits who are blaming the rank and file Trump voters and working men and women for this loss. (No one here is blaming the voters) Weird thing is, I doubt Richard even disagrees with any of the many pro-Republican and pro-swing voter points of view I have tried to articulate.
Richard does make it hard to even try to convince skeptics like you guys that most Trump voters had legit and honorable reasons to vote for him, even though Trump's shortcomings as a human being are so painfully obvious. But you guys know Richard, and hopefully recognize that he is somewhat unique.
The slow-rolling snow storm has also given me the chance to finish up a long stalled woodworking/electronics project. This is a tube pre-amp I have encased in a slab of maple burl. I love the way it turned out and it really sounds sweet. The circuits were designed by John Broskie. https://glass-ware.stores.turbify.net/ The soldering, woodworking and industrial design are all mine. I have a smaller live edge burl slab for my phono preamplifier module, I hope to work on it this winter on snowy days. Gotta love retirement!
