Let the healing begin?

Some of you will hate me for this, but I think Trump ought to pardon Hillary Clinton in his first week. A) This might help him consolidate national support. B) Continued investigations and prosecutions would distract from the business of governance. C) The moral slap-down of a pardon would arguably be more satisfying than any potential prosecution.

Just a thought.

Jim

No hate.... but I will thank you for a chuckle. Noooooooo they need to throw the book at everyone involved in the corruption the Clintons fostered on the American people.

Electoral College Question---

Posted By Greg Shaffer

David Cotterell said:

While watching the election returns the other night one of the commentators briefly mentioned the following:

"The Electors from some states are not compelled to vote as their state's citizens voted while in other states the electors are mandated to vote the way their state's majority voted. The election isn't actually final until Dec. 19 (?) when the Electors cast their ballots. Some electors could counter/ignore/flip their state's vote..." The commentator left that to hang in mid-air and it was not discussed again. I have since seen a Facebook 'campaign' to get some electors to change from Trump to Hillary...

So, is the above statement true? If so, in which states do the electors have the freedom to ignore their state's vote? Is there historical precedent for this actually happening?

Thanks,

Dave

Statements like that are what I define as fear mongering..... That is not to say "faithless electors" has not occurred. There has been only one election where it has nearly affected the outcome of an election and that was back in the early 1800's. It caused the election decision to be thrown to the senate who voted VP Richard Johnson in anyway. That being said there have been roughly 160 instances of "faithless electors" but it has never caused a change in the winner.

As I recall there are about 30 states where it is illegal for the elector to vote faithlessly....

Trump Met Obama

Trump looked humbled after his meeting. Even said he would seek counsel from Obama. That's no wonder after he mentioned, "high flying assets.". He should have kept his moth shut about that.
Trump looked like he was ready to crap concrete. He's so impacted. The guy is such a con. He's not worth 10 or 11 billion. He's not worth one billion. Experts have gone thru his financials and concluded there's no freaking way he's that rich. That's why he doesn't want to release his taxes. We all know he doesn't pay any. He doesn't want people to know his real net worth. He get his billions crap from revenue that goes thru Trump casinos and hotels but that's not his income! Geez.
They interviewed some average Joe today on the street on why he voted Trump. His answer? His social security raise didn't go up enough! If it weren't for a Democrat, he wouldn't even have social security. Another Joe said he was sick and tired of the lies. Trump out lied Hillary by about 10 to 1.
There ya go...

Pretty amazing how the color of ones glasses can filter ones perceptions LOL

He’s been fixed. It looks like (edit) is reporting the same error whether the ISP rejected the email because it has blocked the entire domain, or just because it thinks the individual email is spam. In this case his ISP thought one of the emails was spam so it unsubscribed him.

I’ll see if there’s a way to distinguish between between those two instances.

AstroMart

As I suspected, the problem is usually with the ISP
