Which Poll Are You Going With?

Posted By Rod Kaufman

I'm going with Fox News:

I believe Trumptoids are more likely to trust Fox and thereby provide an unbiased response compared to other polls with the possible exception of Rasmussen.

"Originalists" Throw out Ballots Of Dying People

Jim
If the state law originally allows for absentee ballots to be cast by a presumably live voter, then the vote has been cast by a viable human being who is qualified to vote in the election. Wisconsin has a contradiction in the law because they provide for the latter while refusing the latter if the voter expires prior to the date of the election. It's my opinion that since the state permits the process of absentee voting and the voter fulfills that option, then the vote is legally cast and should be counted. It's axiomatic that the voter who votes by absentee ballot will not be present in the poll on election day in any event since the vote has already been cast. Therefore, it should be counted.

Trumptoids throw out ballots of early voters who subsequently die a few days later even if they're Trumptoids:

DeSantis Prepares To Hide Florida Covid Numbers: The Anti-Testing Strategy At Work

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"Faced with numbers he doesn’t like but can’t control, DeSantis seems prepared to hide or rig the numbers. That would be his most irresponsible move yet.
When the Orlando Sentinel this month wanted a report from the White House Coronavirus Task Force that spoke of “early warning signs” for Florida, the DeSantis administration refused. The paper had to hire lawyers to get the report."

A little something for the Trump haters lol

Greg, Have you yet to come to a conclusion on whether or not you agree with Trump when he said, "“The worst single mistake ever made in the history of our country: going into the Middle East, by President Bush,” ?

Atlas just formally apologized for going on Russian TV: "I recently did an interview with RT and was unaware they are a registered foreign agent," Atlas tweeted. "I regret doing the interview and apologize for allowing myself to be taken advantage of. I especially apologize to the national security community who is working hard to defend us."

You say "what could go wrong"?

Not much since he's well respected in the medical field.

According to Stanford University in their profile section:

Dr. Scott Atlas has been a member of the editorial and scientific boards of many journals as well as national and international scientific societies during the past three decades and has written more than 120 scientific publications in leading journals. As professor and Chief of Neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center from 1998 until 2012 and during his prior academic positions, Dr. Atlas trained more than one hundred neuroradiology fellows, many of whom are now leaders in the field throughout the world.

But hey, you obviously know more about him and his skills and qualifications, than do his peers.

I'm sure the brain trust over at CNN including Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo, helped you come to your conclusions about him, correct?   wink
He is what Fauci says he is: "an outlier"...

‘A whole lot of hurt’: Fauci warns of covid-19 surge, offers blunt assessment of Trump’s response

President Trump’s repeated assertions the United States is “rounding the turn” on the novel coronavirus have increasingly alarmed the government's top health experts, who say the country is heading into a long and potentially deadly winter with an unprepared government unwilling to make tough choices.

“We’re in for a whole lot of hurt. It’s not a good situation,” Anthony S. Fauci, the country’s leading infectious-disease expert, said in a wide-ranging interview late Friday. “All the stars are aligned in the wrong place as you go into the fall and winter season, with people congregating at home indoors. You could not possibly be positioned more poorly.”

Fauci, a leading member of the government’s coronavirus response, said the United States needed to make an “abrupt change” in public health practices and behaviors. He said the country could surpass 100,000 new coronavirus cases a day and predicted rising deaths in the coming weeks. He spoke as the nation set a new daily record Friday with more than 98,000 cases. As hospitalizations increase, deaths are also ticking up, with more than 1,000 reported Wednesday and Thursday, bringing the total to more than 230,000 since the start of the pandemic, according to health data analyzed by The Washington Post.
The expected, lame-ass Trumptoid response from the WH: He's "politicizing" the pandemic. Geez...
