It's more than that who died from covid...
And if the testing was the "problem", then we wouldn't see the dramatic increase in hospitalizations that we're seeing unless you're blind and refuse to recognize it...

Update on my friend in Phoenix. He got the Trump cocktail early last week but it didn't do enough and he was put on a ventilator on Friday. Only thing I heard since then is he's a fighter and the docs/nurses are optimistic. I had another friend in the hospital for four days last week and he is now home recuperating.

A real good customer whom I would have described as a pretty mellow fellow and never would have guessed was a Trumpoid(all three of his sons have worked for me) was in on Friday and I mentioned to him that the governor was probably going to announce some restrictions and he went absolutely ballistic saying Covid is only as bad as the flu and that masks don't work.  Well, I know of two who have died from it and many more in the hospital. The flu doesn't usually send you to the hospital, let alone kill you, at least not in these numbers. Never personally known anyone who has died from the flu.
I hope your friend will recover without sequelae. It's not a good sign that he requires a vent but I'm glad to know the doctors are optimistic.
In Idaho, which is prime Trumtoid country, the average age of a covid patient is 39. The governor Trumptoid has now mobilized the national guard: " Idaho Gov. Brad Little announced Friday that he is mobilizing the National Guard to help combat the coronavirus pandemic as cases threaten to overwhelm the state's healthcare system's ability to care for the sick and dying."
"The executive order signed by the governor calls up 100 guardsmen to help expand healthcare access by assisting with mobile testing, facility decontamination, and more."
