Dow Surpasses 30,000 First Time Ever On Biden Transition...

As far as McConnell filling all those vacancies goes, someone famous once said "elections have consequences."  Filling vacancies is not court packing and you could hardly expect McConnell to nominate a bunch of liberal judges.  At the end of the day, Trump and McConnell have gotten a lot of judges confirmed, but it has not been an extraordinary amount, compared to previous administrations.

I think it is interesting that the Ds have historically put all of their eggs in the "President" basket.  Are D's actually monarchists at heart?

Jim
McConnell called Trump on the same night that Ginsberg passed and told him to nominate Amy. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/527448-mcconnell-pushed-trump-to-nominate-coney-barrett-on-the-night-of-ginsburgs Talk about a monarchist...
PS after reading your comments , I see the ends justifies the means...

In this instance McConnell and Trump were duly elected, and they confirmed judges by the rules.  No reason for you to like the outcome of course.

On the other hand, those who argue for court packing want to discard the rules and in my opinion destroy the best branch of the government to achieve a short-term political win.  If you are looking for a legitimate group to label as the "ends justify the means" crowd, look no further than the court packers.

And yes, I am extremely happy to have thwarted the court packer crowd in this election, using traditional, legal and perfectly normal means.

Jim
I was referring to your references to Hitler/Satan and you don't care as long as your choices get elected.
PS: It appears you're focused on a singular issue, that of court packing, to the exclusion of all else such as health care, stimulus and covid, to name but a few. I don't hear or see Biden talking about court packing; instead he's already focused on the issues at hand. I don't think he should be met with more GOP obstructionism to the continuing detriment of the country....

Well, if you and Kelly Loeffler say so...

Then Judge Sullivan himself asked for an En Banc decision in the case, to be decided by the 10 member panel on the circuit court, totally unheard of because he's not part of the case, yet he did.

This was simply an out of control psychotic judge hellbent on making sure that Flynn was put in jail.  This crazy judge made it personal.

We don't live in a police state, yet, but if all Judges were like Sullivan, we definitely would.

Now as to your other charge, if you knew what the word Fascist meant, you might use it correctly, but then you might actually have to know anything at all about world history to be familiar with what the word means.

Since you don't, you're as confused and deranged as always.
Donald Trump's tweet on the firing of Flynn: "@realDonaldTrump
"I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!"
And speaking of confused and deranged, do you know who Flynn's lawyer was? Hint:It's the same one who the Trump legal team just kicked off and no longer knows...

Despite the fake news claims of Trump and Fox news cronies like Maria Bartiromo that the stock market would tank with the election of Joe Biden the exact opposite is true:https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/24/investing/dow-stock-market-today-transition-yellen/index.html
I bet the Trumptoids who listed to the likes of Maria are pissed and missed about losing out on the upswing...
