Hi all,

Another Mars...ho hummm.... **G**. Seeing was a bit better here. I tried for the 14.4mag Deimos this night, but got it caught in a diffraction spike....oh well, 13.2 mag star was easy.

Hi all,

This is a bit better image than the previous ones, but at it's small size, it's hard to tell just how it rates....anyway, from the image Mars appears quiet.

Hi all,

The nice thing about bruising my knee....can't do much except sit at the computer, so I've been processing like crazy... LOL!! Here is Mars from February 15, 2006. It was 7.75" and still shows a lot of detail. Sure kills the old theory that there isn't any use in observing Mars under 10" of arc, hasn't it thanks to the efforts of folks like Damian Peach, Don Parker, etc. (Thanks guys!!) Still got lots to go.

Saturn in a small refractor.

Hi all,

Hi all,

Thought I'd try Saturn last night in my ED100. The results were better than I thought. I used a 5x Powermate giving an EFR of F/50. Only problem is the colour, I can't seem to get it to balance in the ED100 yet....I'll work on it. In the mean time, if anyone wants to give it a go on my image, be my guest. I'll be interested in your process.
