One sad thing is that Davis’ inane rants hide some interesting topics. I want Collins to win, I admire her independence. Therefore, I am not too fussed that the Ds nominated Platner because he is arguably flawed and certainly, unarguably, untested. Anyone who strongly cares about D control of the Senate should worry about Platner because he could be a repeat of Biden's midterms where the Rs lost winnable races by nominating MAGA whack jobs in vulnerable races. Any thoughts?Originally Posted by Jim Moscheck

Bingo! 👍🏼Originally Posted by Jim Moscheck
davis has no reading comprehension. Obviously you don't need any help from me defending the above statement, but again obviously you were talking about his numerous previous rants, not this specific post, while also giving him some props that he has some interesting points that get lost in his inane posting style. He'd rather bludgeon the forum members with his bullying. It's sad.
Three replies to one post. Is that a hat trick?Originally Posted by Richard Davis

Where was the "Inane rant"? I think like all Democrats, you simply make things up when you can't defend the party candidates.
I guess I missed the rant part and as far as the significance of the subject, your assertion that my posting is Inane seems to be ignorant of any logic whatsoever considering this is one of the most powerful political positions and extremely important to the control of the nation.
Or do you consider the outcome of United States Senate race to be an inane subject? If so, I would assert that you are utterly obtuse and politically brain dead.

hi Jim, based upon a quick perusal of the political press today, in view of your insights above, I would say that you are… Wait for it… a Republican! 😀💪Originally Posted by Jim MoscheckPlease tell me how this is a win.
Surrender document indeed. The Art of the Deal?
Investing $300B in rebuilding Iran after spending at least 1 Trillion for the war including the higher debt payments and costs of replacing munitions. "The war in Iran costs America two billion dollars each day, says war budgeting expert Linda Bilmes—and will cost at least one trillion overall."

Lifting all sanctions, both from the US and from the UN Security Council? Letting Iran start pumping all of the oil they want?
Letting Iran develop their nuclear program levels at the status quo?
Issue wavers for exports of not only Iranian crude oil, but petrochemical products and their derivatives, and all related services, including banking, insurance, transportation, and the like?
Frozen or restricted funds and assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be released and made fully available?
Here is the complete draft of the 14-point memorandum of understanding Trump has signed. I bolded the parts that I questioned.
6 — The United States undertakes, together with its regional partners, to create a comprehensive plan agreed upon by both parties for the rehabilitation and economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while ensuring financing of at least $300 billion. The implementation mechanism of this plan, as part of the final agreement, will be formulated within 60 days.
7 — The United States commits to ending, on a schedule to be agreed upon as part of the final agreement, all types of sanctions currently facing the Islamic Republic of Iran, including resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and all unilateral U.S. sanctions, both primary and secondary.
9 — The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States agree that, pending a final agreement, they will maintain the status quo: Iran will maintain the status quo on its nuclear program, and the United States will not impose new sanctions on Iran or strengthen its forces in the region.
10 — The United States undertakes that immediately after the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, and until the date of the lifting of sanctions, the United States Treasury Department will issue waivers for exports of Iranian crude oil, petrochemical products and their derivatives, and all related services, including banking, insurance, transportation, and the like.
11 — The United States undertakes that, in light of the progress of negotiations towards a final agreement, frozen or restricted funds and assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be released and made fully available. These funds, whether held in the master account or transferred, will be used for any final beneficiary payment determined by the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran and will be fully available for use. The United States undertakes to issue all necessary permits and licenses on this basis.
