Refractor and filter choices

1) Does it matter what kind of refractor (apochromatic vs achromatic) that is used for h-alpha solar viewing?
2) It seems the big differences between the Coronado filter models are the angstrom rating and the aperture of the filters. What is the advantage of the larger aperture filters?

For those who use the Casady SS counter weights, or any counterweight for that matter. How do you store and transport the counter weights? I have always just kept the Losmandy C/W in its cardboard box, but was wondering what others use.

152 storage/transport case?

I am looking for storage/transport cases for my 152, any ideas? I know Scopeguard is an option. I really like the Pelican cases, but they do not come in big enough sizes. Has anyone used or heard of Thermodyne cases? What is being used now for the 152?

Wheeley bars? Comments requested!

I would like some comments of others experiences with the JMI wheeley bars. I am thinking of getting some wheeley bars for my G-11. This will allow me to leave the mount set up in the garage, which in turn will allow me to do more viewing.

Image alignment

When viewing with my bino's on Saturday I was having trouble with image alignment with the higher magniifcation EP's. I was fine when viewing with the normal range of 17mm through 25mm. But when I tried the higher 3mm through 12mm I was getting a lot of doubling of the image, which I could not get corrected. Any ideas?

Have heard talk about NEAF blems from different manufacturers. Is this something that say TeleVue couln't sell because of some blemish in the finish or something? And do the manufacturers usually give a discount for these blemished products? What is it about 20% or so?

I am looking for a good 2.5mm and 3.5mm eyepieces. I know what I have read in the reviews is good, now I want it from you guys here. I will be uinsg the EPs in a 100mm
f/8 APO, and a 152mm f/7.9 APO. I know these EPs will need perfect skies to really show their worth so let me know what you guys know.

Imaging scope(s)?

I am interested in imaging and now own a 78mm f/8 and a 100 f/8 (APO's). I am thinking it is probably not necessary to keep both scopes since they are so close in size.
Will one of these scope be better for imaging than the other?
If so which one? Why?
I will be using the Canon Rebel XT 350D for imaging.
