First Mars Oct 15 with DMK21BF04

As a deep sky passionate it took a long time to get my planetary setup ready.

After some foggy nights I caught a first sight of Mars last night.
Seeing was mediocre, but the new firewire webcam on my 16" at f/20 together with the IR-pass filter did a good job in taking a lot of frames and the result turned out better than expected for that seeing conditions.

Horsehead and NGC 2023

Copernicus

I am not really used to webcam imaging any more, but yesterday the moon was high up, the air was steady and I tried on Copernicus with my 16" cassegrain at only f/10.
DMK21BF04, 400 out of 2000 frames used for processing.

I forgot to use my IR-pass filter, so this is without filter.
The result enclosed is upsampled to 160%.

The stripes result from a wrong video codec that I used in error.

Next in line from the session Jan 10 is Clavius, again at f/10 with the 16", this time with the IR-pass filter, upsamled to 150%.

I observed some blurring in the highlighted parts.
What can be the reason for this?

From the same night (Jan 10) I processed Plato with some more care, alignment on 6 different areas.
Cassegrain 16" at f/10 with DMK21BF04, IR-pass filter.

The mosaic planning was very poor, but I have to live with this.

Bode's Galaxy M81

Within 8 wet weeks only one deep sky image,
I got new luminance data at 4 m F/L and combined it with my older color image.
