15=L, RGB=10m ea. Processed with CCDsoft and Paintshop Pro X. Seeing was pretty good but some gusts of wind caused some problems. Thanks, Tom

Got my Tak installed

Posted By Tom Osterholt

Hi all,
I replaced my old C-11 SCT with a Tak TOA-150, installed in my roll-off roof observatory. On top of the TOA is a Tak FS-78, riding on a Mountain Instruments
MI-250. I also replaced my SBIG ST2000xm with a new ST10XME. Now all I need is some clear sky to get use to this new setup.....Man this weather is getting old!

Ma and her twins!!

Hi All, This is a photo that my friend and fellow Astromarter Neil Bryan from British Columbia sent me this morning. His wife took it right in their back yard.
Neil and I met right here on Astromart thru a transaction and still stay in contact.
Astromart is a great place to meet some neat people!

M81 last night

Posted By Tom Osterholt

Nobody has posted an image in a couple days so I figured I might as well. This is M81 with a burnt out core, shot thru a Tak TOA-150 at F/5.8 with a ST10xme. It is 60mins. Lum binned 1x, RGB 10min ea. binned 2x. I was kind of rushed with the big ol' moon coming up but it was some practice anyway. Thanks ,Tom

NGC-2264 in H-alpha

Posted By Tom Osterholt

Hi, This is an image of the Cone that I started last night. I was able to collect
50 mins of HA before a patch of clouds rolled in and finished me for the night. It is shot thru my TOA-150 at F/5.8 (W.O. .8 reducer) with a ST10xme camera. 13nn filter. I am hoping to ad the color and possibly more HA. Thanks for looking and any advise. Thanks, Tom

This is a new image that I shot last night of the Cone and Fox Fur area. I had to re-shoot my HA channel for alignment reasons. So... 90 min HA at 1X, RGB 15 min ea. 2X. Shot thru my TOA-150 at F/5.8 with a ST10xme. I'd appriciate any advise, Thanks much, Tom

M45, The Pleades

Posted By Tom Osterholt

This is an image that I put together last night of the Seven Sisters. It is shot thru my FS-78 at F/6.4 (.8 reducer) with a ST10xme. It consists of 45 min L, 15 min RGB each.(15 min subs) Processed with CCDsoft and Paintshop ProX. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I am still having a tough time with processing. I plan to get a copy of Photoshop as soon as I can but for now I am still trying to use Paintshop Pro. Thanks for looking, Tom
