I like my zoom. I have a Nikon. However, it is a fieldscope zoom and I've been trying to get the 1.25" adapter for it, but w/o luck. It still works though...

I'm planning to get the TV 3-6mm zoom one day.

Light intensity in "qwik-point" type finders?

I own an Orion EZ finder (not the current EZ II). The intensity is dim on the minimum level as far as I know.

Konigs and Orthos for F/10 SCT

Changed EP set-up. Went ahead and got barlow:

40mm MK70 Konig
24mm Konig
16mm Konig (haven't tried yet)
9mm Ortho
7mm Ortho
2" 2x UO Barlow

set-up could change again though. I really like the 24mm Konig. The 7mm Ortho's eye relief is tight but usable. Quite possibly could get 32mm EP and use w/ barlow for 16mm, and also get a 18mm Ortho and use w/ barlow for 9mm.

How about a C-11 on a CI700 or the NS11 then?

BTW, Can the NS11 be used on a wedge instead of a tripod?

Nikon Zoom EP - anyone tried it

Tried the fieldscope version of the 20-60x (the "fat" one). Haven't compared it to any other zoom but I thought it was great except for the fact that there was an orange color going around the outermost edge.

Never tried the one that APM modified to fit 1.25" (that's the 20-45x version).
