The best way to do it is to search without specifying a date. Set the appropriate section of the classifieds, but don't specify a date. That works every time for me. For some reason the system doesn't seem to handle dates very well.
The results you get when not specifying a date will still be sorted by date, so it should work well enough for what you are trying to do.
