1) Republicans do not believe health care is a right.
100% percent absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt correct (at least in this conservatives opinion, note I did not say republican). I defy you to show me in OUR Constitution where it says it is.

2) Republicans do not think the government should work toward ensuring everyone has health care coverage.
Not if it entails taking by force from one group to give to another.
3) Republicans want tens of millions of people to lose their health care coverage so Republicans can pay for a tax cut for wealthy people. (see the proposed drastic reduction in capital gains taxes...)
Loaded statement, not a question....
4) Republicans believe that if you can't get the health care you need because you can't afford it, or getting that care financially ruins you, "thems the breaks" so to speak. You should have made more money, or made sure you got a job with better insurance coverage, or not gotten so sick.
Statement...not a question. Basic care is addressed by medicare/Medicaid

5) Republicans do not think all health care insurance should cover certain essential benefits, nor do Republicans believe people with pre-existing conditions should be guaranteed coverage.
Statement...not a question.

6) Republicans do not want an open, informed debate on an issue that impacts every American and 1/6th of the economy. That's why Republicans drafted the bill in secret and held no hearings.
Pure partisan bullshit....the entire senate draft was released for review and discussion today! Why on earth should something that isn't finished be openly released when every partisan asshole on the planet is dying to rip it to shreds....

The vast majority of those who voted for this sort of thinking are the very people who will be negatively affected. And they will vote for more and worse in the future..... I fail to understand the Stockholm Syndrome relationship between R voters and R policy.
Yes I get that individual responsibility is a foreign concept for you, feel free to apply this to the above non-answers I gave on some statements
