Total Repudiation of TrumpPosted By James Brown |
Not sure how you feel about this Pete, and I certainly don’t wanna make any value judgments, but I’m really bummed that Amendment 87 passed giving Colorado a graduated state income tax. At least it appears to be passing by one percent.Originally Posted by Pete BraytonMy wife's second cousin, Jessica Killin is currently leading Republican Jeff Crank here in Colorado. The bill has significant flaws, for example the brackets not being indexed for inflation. Mostly I think it will likely discourage high earning young professionals, entrepreneurs and corporations from moving to Colorado. Democrat governor Jared Pollis was opposed to this amendment, and I agreed with him for all sorts of reasons. Hopefully it does not damage our economy too badly.
P.S. no one has called the Killin race in ElPaso county or Amendment 87 officially. The Colorado Secretary of States shows all counties have completed their Election Day counts, which should be most everything, since we are entirely mail-out, drop-off voting. No late ballots except military, I think. Still the NYT says that only 75% of the vote is in, so take my conclusions with a grain of salt please,
