While it's always been US law that reimbursement is required, "U.S. officials tell NatSec Daily and others that evacuation flights from Kabul will be free."Originally Posted by Greg ShafferSeems quite appropriate......and funny.
Now here is something unbelievably ridiculous and not the least bit funny.
I just heard on the radio that US Citizens are being told by state department personnel that they MUST sign an agreement to pay up to $2000 per person in order to board an evacuation flight out of Kabul......
So our government is flying illegal immigrants from the Mexican boarder all over the US and dropping them off on the taxpayer dime but are charging US citizens for the privilege of being evacuated from a situation the government created??????????
Now, back to reality and the root cause for the situation in Afghanistan as per Trump's previous national security advisor General H R McMaster who again today echoed his statements at the time that, "The Trump administration's withdrawal from Afghanistan and partnership with the Taliban has made the United States less safe," and "I think what [President Trump] did with this new policy, is he, in effect, is partnering with the Taliban against, in many ways, the Afghan government," and: "McMaster says the president partnered with the Taliban before peace talks in Doha, Qatar, and diminished the sacrifice of American troops who died during the Afghanistan War."
