You won't beleive this. On my first trip to the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, I was lucky enough to see a very rare site in Texas. This is a three foot alligator swiming in a lake in Fort Worth, Texas. I would not have believed that they were this far west yet if I hadn't seen it myself. Fortunately, I had camera in hand and got a picture of him. Not a very good picture, but when you see one of these, you just start shooting. Alligators are unheard of in this part of the state. -Kurt Horsley
