There needs to be a option at the top of each forum to mark all messages as read, perhaps even a one that allows you to mark all forums read at once. As it is now one must go read the last post in each forum and even each topic in order to start fresh from what I can tell.

Which I have done several times now....but with all the fixes and updates being done the last reads have been reset several times.

I clicked on one of the articles on the home page. It appears any graphics/photos etc didn't make the transition....I suspect that may be the case with all of them? Have not looked yet.

When did you shut them off? Its been two days since I last saw a blank notice, from what I can tell its been working just fine for a couple days in all respects.

When you click on "My Account" scroll down till you see "Unused Ratings". Hard to miss.....

Now if you don't see the seller/buyer in question listed and you actually have a completed transaction with them then either yourself or them needs to respond to the ad again (with all the changes it is indeed possible a rating flag went missing)

Note that you should NOT issue ratings unless there was a completed transaction. Be sure and review the TOS (terms of service) so you understand the rules regarding ratings. I mention this only so you don't make the mistake of misusing the rating system and potentially lose your access to AM (this has happened).

I found it, but for me I had to click on "Account Menu" and then scroll down to find the unused ratings section. It was definitely not under the "My Account" for me. When I click on "my account" it takes me to "my profile". This is a bit convoluted.

LOL....I was referring to the "My Account" link on the upper right side of the screen..... which does take you to the right place. You are correct regarding the left side of the home page though....but I didn't say scroll down and click on "my account" smile

I just replied to one of your ads (losmandy hand controller) as a test.....I did receive a copy to my email.....

Assuming you get the notice please notice when you hit reply what email address it is addressed to.....should be [[email protected]][email protected][/email] if not then that is where the issue is.....

I never did get an email. 



Not sure if using “reply” is the correct choice once I receive a response to my ads from AM? None of my messages get through. 

So I responded to one of your ads, you got the notice and sent a response directly to me which I received (and responded to) so I don't get what you are saying is not working.....

I responded to someone's ad this morning, I received a copy and he did as well, he responded to the notice and I got that response as well......so it would appear to be working fine for at least some.

Definite issues with ad responses

So I have tested this with 2 sellers today.

1. I responded to an ad from Larry Thaxton, I requested a copy of the response and got it.

2. Larry responded to my inquiry and it came to my email so all worked as it should have.

2nd test

1. I responded to an ad from Paul Leuba, received a copy as I should have

2. However when Paul responded to the notice it was directed back to AM instead of me when he hit reply and of course I never got his response as a result.

Seems a bit strange that one worked perfectly and the other didn't?
