Does Gen. Powell regret covering up for presidents throughout his career?
What a fuggin post to make.
"Does Gen. Powell regret covering up for presidents throughout his career?"
Yeah, he DID: Covering for Bush who you likely helped putting into office by voting for him:

Sometimes, It's The Little Things In Life...

Republican Lt Governor Dan Patrick of Texas was so convinced of Trump's claims that voter fraud was a problem that he offered up to a million dollars to those who exposed it and led to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator. Today, he had to pay up on the first case wherein a progressive pollster tipped authorities to a Republican who committed it in Pennsylvania. Of the 7 million votes cast in that state, there were five cases of voter fraud leading to convictions and all were committed by Republicans so Lt Dan may not be through paying his bounty yet. Like Grg likes to say, where there's smoke, there's fire!

federal deficit reached $2.8 trillion in fiscal 2021, the second largest deficit in history.

Second to that of the Trump administration, that is...
(The number, however, is down $360 billion from the record set during the previous fiscal year.)

I almost forgot Alaska!
"Alaska’s COVID hospitalizations have hit a new high"
"The state of Alaska logged 1,024 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, continuing its ranking as the state with the highest case rate in the nation."

Actually what reinforces it is the attitudes and behaviors of the people living in them...

Let's take a quick look and see what the boys in Idaho are up to now. Not only have they not vaccinated against covid, they haven't vaccinated against the flu either and now they've got that, too! Yup, Idaho is already been seeing influenza cases showing up to the point that their already overstretched hospital system has to continue crisis of care standards. Of course, the blistering 25% case positivity rates in the northern part of the state means ultra-high transmission levels will continue unabated for quite some time. Must be the weather...
Now, let's look at the country leader in covid: Alaska! "Alaska’s case rate over the past seven days remains the highest in the country and nearly five times the national average, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention." " State epidemiologist Dr. Joe McLaughlin said Monday: “We’re not seeing at this point any clear downward trend in cases.”
That goshdarn weather! Like Greg says, facts are the facts...

" we're not interested in What Idahoans are "up to now"." Not interested in covid stats in Idaho? How about the ones in Alaska at four times the national average?
What about Utah? It's a family massacre over there with a positivity rate of 17%! It's dropping 'em faster than a minigun, that goshdarn weather!

"Not concerned"
Then why have you replied to this thread(3x)? Perhaps it's because you're off your meds and you're back to being the psycho troll you've always been...

" which is making our capacity to be really strained,” Dr. Eddie Stenehjem, Intermountain Healthcare infectious diseases physician, told reporters."
Just checking in on how the red states are doing  and, as anticipated, the numbers of hospitalizations in states like Idaho and Utah are still going ballistic:
"In Utah, capacity at Intermountain Healthcare’s COVID-19 intensive care unit hubs is 100%. Statewide, its ICUs are at 98%."
"The majority of the patients — 80% to 90% depending on the day — are not fully vaccinated."
“There is some good information from the state coming out,” Don Duffy, director of Idaho’s Panhandle Health District, told KXLY.com. “One of those is the positivity rate in the state. It had a high of 17% and it’s now down to 12%, so that’s positive, but that’s not what we’re seeing here in North Idaho.”

"The northern stretches of the state, Duffy said, have a positivity rate of 27%, despite seeing a slight recent decline in hospitalizations.
"Those figures have officials urging caution."
