A consideration of an amount in the settlement of a lawsuit is just that, a consideration and nothing has been settled. Here's the latest as of 3 days ago from TheHill:
"The ACLU is still battling its lawsuit with the Biden administration and according to the Journal, not all the families it’s representing will be eligible for a potential financial settlement."
"The Office of the Inspector General conducted a review of the Justice Department's zero tolerance policy and found that under former attorney general Jeff Sessions, the agency “failed to effectively prepare for, or manage, the implementation of the zero tolerance policy.”

Get a load of Amy's explanation for voting with the majority to uphold the mandate: "she decided against voting to grant such "extraordinary relief" in part because the case arose on the court's emergency docket and the justices did not have the benefit of a full briefing and oral arguments." Apparently nobody else thought that one up.
It's reminiscent of Barret being queried by Klobuchar during the affirmation process wherein the senator asked Barrett about her take on voting affirmatively on a voting rights law and Barrett responded she could only do so in some kind of a hypothetical scenario if such a law came to pass and then Klobuchar had to remind her such a law already exists...

"A new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) finds that vaccination provides better protection against hospitalization with COVID-19 than a previous infection with the virus.
"The analysis found people hospitalized with coronavirus-like symptoms were more than five times more likely to test positive for COVID-19 if they had had recent prior infection than if they were recently vaccinated."
