I haven't been there yet Rod, but the LP map on the Clear Sky Clock page bodes well.

I'm sure the transparency would be very good, but the average seeing conditions are anyone's guess.
I know that the Salt Lake club (SLAS) comes down to Capitol Reef a lot.
I'll have to ask them about Great Basin.
My new CSC zone is neighboring that one, on the east side of the I-15 corridor.

Yeah Floyd. That was great!
I was surprised how quick the first thumbnails arrived.
That entry and landing was an intricate sequence of events,
but it all fell into place like clockwork!

Hi Floyd.
I still think the PST is a tremendous value,
but for "the best double stack solar scope for the money",
I'd nominate the 60mm Lunt. Mine's an original and only has a 50mm DS filter,
but they're making a 60mm filter now, which would be even better.
