1. Can or will an option be added to mark each forum or even all forums globally at least as read without actually having to view all the posts?

2. Can a limitation be instituted to limit the lines available in a message signature? I just saw a 3 line post that had *****33***** lines in the signature. That's extreme.

Obviously the focus needs to remain on actual fixes for things that don't work properly but it would be nice to know if these two changes can/will be implemented.

Things are definitely improving almost daily.....Thanks for your efforts!

Looks the same here as it has for quite some time.....At least using a desktop. Are you talking about desktop, laptop, notepad or mobile?

You control what you see such as price, location, etc.....its all under account settings. You just need to edit your settings. Depending on what you are using the view the site with you may need to experiment a bit as I don't believe its possible to make it display ALL of the options at once.

Both the prior OS the software was running under and the software itself is no longer supported Tom.....So that wont be coming back ever.  That said its slowly improving and I am sure will continue to do so

Their default is Normand Fullum mirrors but they will build to whatever optics you would like.....Very custom in their offerings.

Ok, ok, I understand that the old version is no longer supported and Google et. al. are obliquely pressuring AstroMart to heel-to or no longer exist. Fine, understandable. But, at least as I am accessing from this perfectly good Laptop... the overhead on the new site is running Molasses Slow, compared with before. Any time I hit a select button, it's as if nothing at all happened, and then, often a long time later... it finally refreshes... or not. Very confusing.

I'll probably just visit if I'm looking for something used to buy. Other than that... drifting away...

That ~other place~ seems to be running smoothly in the Forums Section, and quite active.

I don't get why you would not log in 1st since there are limitations when not logged in.

I have seen 5 or 6 times when things ran slow since the upgrade but I on here 10 or more times a day usually 7 days a week and it is usually as it is now, response times are pretty much instant.....As you may realize I am on CN even more than here (being part of the staff there) and I see those lag times there as well.....perhaps even more often so I just take it as more internet traffic related than anything else.

I think you may have touched on the issue Tom.....though it wasn't me that called ya lazy

I just did a search for "APM" of the refractor section and it found 5 pages worth of ads (25 per page) dating as far back as 2001 so the older ads are still there. The ones with images start in 2004, which as I recall seems on par with the old software. That's quite a bit more than 10 years worth.

It sounds like you may be using the search routine on the header of a category which is limited to the last 90 to 180 days. (I miss the option for the last year there as well but I suspect we can request that be added back in and I intend to) Check the options in the left hand column of the site and choose the global "Search Classifieds" command. Leave everything blank except the search term and choose a category, you will find the that it displays every ad placed with "APM" in it just like the old software.

 I have my pet peeves as well regarding the changes but most of them have either been addressed or have been added to the list of changes to make by the programmers. The one exception I greatly miss that I suspect wont be returning is the threaded display in the forums. I find I miss that a lot......

I played with creating ads fairly extensively before the new site went online and never had this issue so I am curious what is happening.
