Jupiter and Mars from this morning and last nite

Hi all,

I managed these shots last night and this morning. I'm surprised how well Jupiter turned out in light of the fact it was 102F and only 31 degrees high. I guess it goes to show that it's worth trying to image even if it doesn't seem like it. :grin:

Mars from this morning. The planet seems "hazier" than yesterday to me. My transparency was excellent and seeing about 7/10.

Hi all,

Finally had some clear skies this morning! Seeing wasn't great, but not terrible. I shot two runs of Mars about an hour apart. Of course we had dust storms roll through the valley tonight and even if it is clear tomorrow, seeing probably won't be good. Ah well....
