Is that relatively new? I was in Singapore about 15 years ago, on my way from Thailand to Bali. Didn't see this, though.
I did see the best zoo I've ever been to! And their incredible Botanical Gardens! I wish I could post a few photos from there, but they're in slide format. I have years worth of scanning to do.

I've been down that road, too.
The card I was dealt though, was ALS.
Not a whole lot of fun either, but I'll tell you one thing...
It's not hard at all to look around and see people with worse problems.
My Grandma who had Alzheimer's, for example. Wouldn't want to trade for that!
We all have our crosses to bear... hang in there with yours.
As long as I wake up alive each day, I'll see my glass as "half full"! smile

Don't change much!

I like almost everything... the layout, ease of navigation, appearance, forum and ad structure, account options, search functions, and on and on...

I'd really have to spend some time trying to find things to improve. And there''s no need to change (for the sake of change) things, if it's not an improvement.

If it ain't broke... don't fix it! wink

My two cents, adjusted for inflation.

Actually, I'd have to say my 14.5" Starmaster, which is my largest scope. I have been trying to use my TeleVue refractors more often but, while they are quite enjoyable too, I just see so damn much more in the big guy! 8O And the Argo-Navis and ServoCat drive make it so easy to use.
Ideally, having a refractor off to one side, provides the best of both worlds. grin

I've been viewing Lovejoy the past few nights through my TV-102. I'm using the Beehive - M44 - as my visual signpost, and it's pretty easy to spot as it moves toward the head of Leo. Pops right out in my 26mm Nagler (34x), and appears as a diffuse, round coma with a bright core. This is as seen from the comfort of my loft, through a dual-pane window. ;^) Yeah, I know... I'll get my old wimpy butt out there in the cold one of these nights!
I was getting frustrated hunting for Ison, but then read about the other comets currently viewable. Nice to see Lovejoy... first comet I've seen since Pan-Starrs, which was a naked-eye object from my front yard. Still hoping Ison gets that bright soon!

Good luck with the weather, Dave. I've had an unusually cloudy stretch here, as well. It's been snowing all day here (west of Capitol Reef - 6850') and NOAA is forecasting 100% chance of it continuing into Sunday. I caught a look at Ison just after she brightened, but it was in twilight then. And I've been fighting the moonlight ever since. Now this!
Monday looks clear though, and I've got great horizons, so we'll see....
