I'm not sure as I don't know if there was a curfew in place or if there was a protest that was deemed unlawful in which case nobody should have been there...

Hmm, Did the  defendant cross state lines and pick up an AR15 at a friend's house? He reportedly did. Did the defendant falsely claim he was an EMT on scene? He reportedly did. Did the defendant get caught up in the middle of a melee? He evidently did. Did the defendant kill some people in the melee. He evidently did. And were those people that he killed upset with him because he was running around with a rifle? They evidently were. And did he feel threatened by their presence before he shot and killed them? He evidently did...

That's right Mel, he lived with his mother in another state. But what the hay, everybody goes from one state to another and one community to another to offer their EMT services especially when there's a protest or a riot. That's also why states have their own national guards, state troopers and highway patrols, too. You nailed that one, Mel.

Yeah what's up with states lines anyway? Extradition proceedings for suspected perps, checkpoints and roadblocks flor them at state lines, too. Those goshdarn states rights. Hmm I thought Republicans were all for "states rights". You know like DeSantis in Florida with his "Don't Fauci MY state campaign" or cultural norms in states like IDAHO wherein mask burning at the height of a pandemic are the "in thing to do"(they obviously do a lot more than grow potatoes!). And while we're talking about driving across state lines to stop at a friend's house to pickup an AR15 to provide EMT services at a local riot, what in your EMT armatorium would you bring, Greg?

Most people have lives, work, play, etc...

Get a clue numbnuts.
Hmm: "Ryan Balch, a former U.S. Army soldier who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, testified Thursday that he traveled to Kenosha on the night of the shootings armed with a semi-automatic rifle and a pistol to help protect businesses, and that he met Rittenhouse there."
"Balch later told FBI investigators that Rittenhouse seemed very interested in him and his military deployments. He said Rittenhouse told him that he was 19 and a certified emergency medical technician; he was actually a lifeguard at a recreational complex in nearby Pleasant Prairie, which is between Kenosha and Rittenhouse’s hometown of Antioch, Illinois."
"He said Rittenhouse introduced himself and said he was an emergency medical technician. Rittenhouse didn’t say how old he was, but Lackowski testified that he thought Rittenhouse was at least 18 because minors can’t possess firearms in Wisconsin and he thought a person had to be 18 to get an EMT license."

Thanks for clarifying all of that, Rich...

Well, once again the media was ginning up a pile of bullshit. There was not a huge crowd outside and the response of those that were was overwhelmingly celebratory outside when the verdict came in......

I would say the vast majority of the media coverage of this one has ground to a screeching halt at this point.....
THAT hype was coming from MAGA media!
Oh, while we're talking media, here's what Rittenhouse's lawyer had to say about Tucker and the Fox news crew:
"Mark Richards, an attorney for Kyle Rittenhouse, said Friday that he did not approve the Fox film crew that was embedded with the defense team during the trial."
“I threw them out of the room several times,” Richards told CNN. “I don't think a film crew is appropriate for something like this.”
“But the people who were raising the money to pay for the experts and to pay for the attorneys were trying to raise money," Richards added. "I don't want to say an evil, but a definite distraction was part of it. And I didn't approve of it. But I’m not always the boss.”
"Some context: Washington Post media reporter Jeremy Barr tweeted a clip of what appears to be a special produced by Fox’s "Tucker Carlson Originals."

He's producing a special and he's going to be interviewing Rittenhouse as well.

He said as much yesterday when I watched a clip of Carlson on Youtube.

Is that going to set you over the edge into complete insanity?
Read EMT I mean lifeguard Riddenhouses lawyer comments about that again, and tell him what does that have to do with anything? So much for Rich and reality. PS: Both you and GREG enjoy watching Tucker's summary of the EMT I mean lifeguard's exploits on TV and youtube!

If you read my post Greg, it's understood that YOU would come armed because I asked what would you bring in your amartorium. I don't think you'd mess with something like an AR that you've discounted in past discussions about it so what would YOU come armed with?

I'm glad you clarified the matter. LIFEGUARD Rittenhouse, according to the prosecutor, utilized full metal jacket ammo that could easily pass through a squad car, as per his statement in the courtroom. It seems LIFEGUARD Rittenhouse gave it considerable thought when it came to loading up his weapon with projectiles packing a punch...

Oh and BTW, about the BS that police couldn't engage in the riot and during shooting:
