Well Jim, with all the concealed carries out there in states that don't even require a permit and with the insanity of the"constitutional carry" looming on the wingnut horizon, I understand your sentiments. When you consider the high number of accidental shootings involving kids, it's obvious a parent or guardian is being irresponsible with gun ownership. While it may be too late to do something about the guns, both from the aspect of the right wing gun nuts and a conservative SCOTUS that guts any meaningful gun control, perhaps something can be done with ammunition such as limiting it to the so-called defensive rounds that don't penetrate walls, buildings or cars. While you're justifiably concerned about the above, I'm equally concerned about a round zinging through a wall from a a neighbor a block or two away whose toddler or child might find the family firearm next to a Guns & Ammo magazine...Originally Posted by Jim MoscheckYou know, I've always been against guns, but I'm thinking of getting one to protect myself from all the other guns already out there and the nuts on the right who are calling for a civil war.
