Cruz ACCURATELY called the the assault on the capitol a "terrorist attack" and he has done so EIGHTEEN times including a speech before congress. NOW, he goes before a Faux News propagandist to say what he meant was only those who attacked the police that day were terrorists! Again, in his previous 18 references on January 6th, he called the assault a terrorist attack on the capitol. He could have said, "I condemn the terrorist attack against the police" or "I condemn the perpetrators who attacked the police" but that's not what he said. Instead he specifically stated it was a terrorist attack on the capitol in his official statements. Why did he do that?
