Eagle Optics Denali Binoculars

Posted By Darrell Hensley

Hello Tom,Its me again. As I stated before I really dont have a clue about bino's,but on my lunch break I went over to wally world and saw what looked to be some really nice looking sets. They had the Bushnell 10X50 for 59.95,they even had some 12X and some 16X but they were a different brand.I dont remember I was in a hurry to get back to work, but they also were around 50.00 or so.Some people dont like dept. store optics but these were big and looked really nice.I may try them instead of the Meade, and their pick-up only,no damage in shipping. But this dont have anything to do with your question,I thought of you when I saw them.Sincerely,Darrell

Meade warranty work follow-up

Posted By Darrell Hensley

That is fantastic Joe,I was wondering about your scope the other day if you had gotten it back yet.I have had nothing but great experiences with Meade folks.I dont know if they have always been this way but they are a bunch of good people.Good luck with your NEW old scope.Darrell Hensley

Seems like I can always count on you for support hugh, thanks for putting me on the right path.I came to this forum because I knew that the guys I usally ask advise for would be here.Dont worry Hugh,if they steal anything else I wont be back, what would be the use of being in an astronomy club with no equipment? Sorry to have bothered you hugh---- Darrell

Edmund vs Televue 2X barlow

Posted By Darrell Hensley

Hi Arthur,If the barlow lens is anything like the edmund eyepieces it'll be a great barlow.I'd rather have it for myself.Edmund has great contrast for etra sharp views.I recieved a couple of the ep's and could'nt believe the clarity and contrast.Regards,Darrell

What's a Byers Cam Trak worth

Posted By Darrell Hensley

Hi Robert,You may get an idea for a price from telescope warehouse. They have several different Ed Byers drives and gears. You have to go into the website we're not allowed to talk about here-you know the one that rhymes with egay and search telescope warehouse and click on mounts and drives.Hope I did'nt break any rules but thats where you can find them.Regards,Darrell
