When I was in high school in the 80"s in upstate NY and we still had newspapers and no internet, a teacher came up to me to congratulate me for an achievement unbeknown to me because I had not seen the article in that days newspaper. I had been selected 1st team all state big school football. I used a payphone in the schools lobby (no cell phones back then) to call my father to let him know the great news. "Dad I made first team all state!" his response, "You didn't get a scholarship" and hung up.
He was so bent on putting me down to make himself feel superior that he could not come to recognize my achievement.
I referred to him as the clueless idiot after that and I was not proven wrong.
Trump haters will not ever acknowledge ANY achievement from his policies no matter the significance (shutting down border as an example) and distort anything to twist the truth to make him look like a loser.
They will bend themselves into pretzels to justify criticism (bring back gang member for due process when Jan 6 accused citizens sat in solitary confinement awaiting due process).
He won the election because of that so get used to the Trump supporters supporting his agenda.
But you won't stop and I know my father didn't and he left this world without a single friend mourning him.
