Now that is interesting.....I can see all four of the ads when viewing your classifieds with three of them displaying everything just as they should except they have a big orange "not confirmed" flag.....One would think even if the new policy is not to allow removal of ads once posted that there should be an option to remove prior to confirmation. I am sure the team will address this forthwith.....

Open the classified section and look at the upper left options box.....look for "Place an ad".....unless you are using a phone or something with a small screen....then you need to scroll down till you get to it.

Go to your Accnt settings (under "My Account"wink and look under the ratings section for "Unused Ratings" you should find an unused rating flag for your original response. Delete it. You will then be able to respond to the ad again and a new rating flag will be created.

Suggestion: I assume you have not received a response and you want to follow up again. Also send the seller a PM (private message) by going to their accnt info page (click on their name in the ad). A few accnts have had issues since the software upgrade and were not getting responses (fixable by Astromart usually). The seller may not be aware and wondering why no one is responding. You can get in touch with him about the item and he can let the folks at AM know he has an issue.

I would recommend you also consider the 10" scope shown at the link by Dobstuff......its more $$ but it is also higher quality. I had one like it for several years and still regret selling it when I got my 12.5". It was easy to transport and setup, grab the base in one hand and the scope in the other, very easy to tote.

Likely it is a display issue related to whatever you are using to view AM with......You will find that if you take the time to explain where/when you are seeing this along with the info on what you are using phone/tablet/laptop/desktop etc that the programing team working on the site will address it pretty quickly. A screen shot would go a long was as well. I wouldn't however expect much based on what you have posted so far though.

I mention this because you said "a whole add from a classified listing" which does not make sense when trying to figure out where you are talking about this is happening

Wanted Ads

Last read pointers

Besides the last read pointers having been reset to nothing being read a half dozen times or so since the new site went up I have been noticing from the start that when for example there are say several new posts in a forum since last read that it doesn't start with the oldest unread post when you open the forum.

It instead starts with the most recent post and you must scroll back to find the 1st actually unread post since last online. Not a big deal if there are only a couple new posts since you last checked but when there are a half dozen or more and its been a while it is a bit irritating......Appears to be a consistent issue.

You might benefit from reading the pinned topic directly above this one since you were trying to use an Ipod.....odds are it will address your Ipod issue as well.

Go to your accnt settings and review the options.....you will find you can choose the info you want displayed when viewing the ad listings.
