Give it a go and let us know!
There is also the Baader fluorite flatfield converter.
Of course when you barlow you also increase your F ratio for the same aperture.
This means longer exposure time (I think).
101 aperture at F10 if you 2X would mean 2X exposure time to get the same brightness. If you wanted shorter exposure time you would need larger aperture for the same F ratio.

I agree with Louie I enjoy Anthony's images as they are very unique.
Obviously he is upset about this as an issue and I can respect that.
I also enjoy reading about astrograph choices as equipment choice and right combinations and access to others experience is vital in making a nice image.
I am sure Anthony has equipment choices behind him as he has a superb AP160. The question of which gear to use is far less relevant.
