It depends on what device you are using to access the site......but if using a desktop or laptop go to the classifieds page and look on the left side of the screen. There is a link named "Place a new ad" once you click that just follow the prompts.....works pretty much just like the old site.

If you are using a tablet you need to read this: https://www.astromart.com/forums/astromart-groups/astromart-faq/i-dont-see-left-and-right-column-on-my-tablet?page=1#post157728 then start out by opening the classifieds page same as above then follow the instructions at the link. Once you have the left side column in view it works the same as above.

If you are using a phone verify you are logged into the site otherwise the option wont be there, open the classifieds page and the "place a new ad" link should be among links displayed at the top of the page.

That makes two people in the last two days that say clicking on the arrows to bring up the hidden columns isn't working for them Herb....see last topic below this one.

How to respond to potential seller?

You should get his complete response to the ad in your direct email.....and simply respond to it directly outside of AM. The PM system on AM is not part of the loop.....UNLESS the person didn't actually respond to the ad but rather sent you a PM via AM......If that is what they did then I would be very careful as if they only used a PM it bypasses the rating system leaving you unable to post feedback if there is a transaction and something isn't right....

Go to your "Unused Ratings" on your account profile and delete the "you can rate this person" flag that was set when you responded to the ad.....you will then be able to respond again. AND it will set a new flag so you can rate the transaction if you complete one.

The 1st step is verify the email address on your user account is correct

2nd step would be to check your junk mail folder

3rd if you don't find them in your junk mail folder check with your ISP and insure they are not being blocked as spam...(this has happened with more than one provider)
