Sounds like perhaps you guys should try changing the resolution of your display screen.

No idea....just tossing a suggestion out. It might be a browser issue though as well.....certainly cant hurt to try a different one. Lots more variables in equipment and software than there used to be so I am not surprised that some configurations are problematic.....

I actually use 1360x768 on a 32" Sony TV and a desktop and IE11 or Chrome without any issues here.....

Is there a term limit for ads?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Tom.....

The site defaults to listing ads for the last XX number of days. I don't recall what the number actually is but it is less than the age of your ad. I think the default is 60 days. Its still there.....I looked it up on your profile then I went to the AstroNOT real estate section of the classifieds and note the circled items in the screen capture below. Once I set it to display the last 120 days your ad was visible. You can extend the date range on the fly from 90 days to up to a year when viewing any of the categories. You can also go to your account settings and permanently extend the date range as well for all categories....

I also made the mistake of trying to find it in the "Observatories" section where ads like yours are usually found as I didn't catch it at 1st that it was in the AstroNOT section.....lol

But it is there and still active.....It might be a good idea to repost it though since like you many do not play with the settings at the top of the listings and don't see ads that are older than the default date range.

Clear Skies!!

This is as good as any Al..... Not sure what you mean about no longer viewable.....you have 3 or 4 posts in the topic "Classifieds Ads" about two topics down....it even shows you as the last poster in that topic.

If need help urgently you can always email Herb at [email protected] as well.....

I'm retired so I guess I have the time to retype it, I'm just lazy.  :<wink

I know I used to do that before the software upgrade without issue. I also know that I can copy and paste to the forums same as before but I have not tried it for ads yet.....though I cant think of a reason it shouldn't work.

Have you emailed support (Herb)?

No I am not an admin....there is only one admin and that is Herb as far as I know......Just someone who has been here nearly 20 years as an active participant and also one of the beta testers for the new software trying to lend a hand to those having issues. Since the programmers have stopped posting I assume Herb is compiling a list of issues for when he brings them around again. It appears to be working properly for the majority of people now and I doubt they work for free.

I would suggest you send Herb a detailed problem report including all the pertinent info about your hardware/software setup along with a detailed description of what it is doing, what you have tried yourself etc.

Your choice I suppose..... as for all the pertinent info I see you posted "Desktop, firefox & Blue Moon act the same." and in a later post you stated the resolution you are using. Didn't see anything about your OS/version and I assume you meant "Pale Moon" instead of "Blue Moon" which isn't a browser. I don't use either of those browsers and still running Win 7 Pro here....seems to work ok with both IE11 and Chrome for me. I don't recall any specific issues with Firefox being mentioned during the beta testing though.

Update: I just installed Pale Moon (which I had not heard of before your mentioning it. Seems to work just fine with my hardware/software setup. Walked thru posting a new ad option without issue so I cant imagine what is causing your issues....

Working properly here on the referenced ad.....when I click on "Respond to Ad" the circled area in the screen shot below pops up..... Win7 desktop using IE11, Chrome or Pale Moon.
