Calling Out The GOP

Posted By Rod Kaufman

"For folks like Elise Stefanik, a member of Republican leadership, to turn around and brag about funding and the ten projects after voting against them, just shows how broken the Republican Party is."
"@RepPeteAguilar
called out the GOP today for touting laws they voted against."

Typical GOP hypocrites. Greg doesn't like them either...just their policy.

Considering the source with a lead article as nuts as, "Washington Is Ramping Up Its Campaign To Draw NATO Into War With Russia", it's appropriate in this instance to apply the "Hmm" to it and nothing more...

That's BS, many, if not all,  of these so-called lies are nothing more than obviously biased misinterpretations from the article. I'm not going through your hoopes to demonstrate it for you since you've already accepted the nonsense as some sort of a fact check which it certainly is not...

The "Vlad Didn't Invade Because Trump Was Strong" Nonsense Debunked

So what if Trump or his sycophants in the alt-right press boast and chest-thump that Putin would have never dared this invasion under the Trump administration?  Trump lost the election.  Biden won.  I certainly hope that the vast majority of voters are focused on the here and now, not on the rantings of the last election's loser or his sycophants in the press.

I care because popular right wing propagandists are adamantly fulminating this stuff on right wing media. The more voices that sing out against it and promote the truth and the facts behind it, the better...

The "Vlad Didn't Invade Because Trump Was Strong" Nonsense Debunked

Succinctly stated by Pakman:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUCKKEP0FG0
For those who won't view the link, continue reading:
1. Putin publicly stated he preferred Trump as president over Hillary.
2. He placed sanctions on Hillary and not Trump.
3. Putin preferred Trump over Biden because he viewed Biden as strong and Trump as unwilling to engage.
3. The international order was, in Putin's view, to his liking under Trump who was considering exiting NATO so Putin's work was being done for him.
4. Trump was viewed by world leaders as an isolationist and, again, unwilling to engage in foreign matters.
5. One of Trump's appointees was/is a Putin apologist.
6. Putin's talking point that NATO is a threat to Russia is echoed by some right wing sources.
7. The same American propagandist who backed Trump's voter fraud nonsense and called Russia's position on Ukraine as being reasonable is the same one that runs on a loop on Russian news.
8. Trump has either praised Putin and stated that he had no message for him after he invaded Ukraine.
But, don't take my word for it, listen to a Republican lawmaker instead:

The GOP Congressional Reps Who Voted Against Russian Sanctions

I guess I can say the same thing about your President, that he isn't interested in helping Ukraine, because Biden VETOED the fighter Jet transfer to the Ukranian Military.

It appears that Biden is on the side of Putin and the Russian Air Force since he stopped the ability of the Ukranian AF to defend the country.
"It appears that Biden is on the side of Putin and the Russian Air Force since he stopped the ability of the Ukranian AF to defend the country."
And that appearance is incorrect. The MIG 29s are not included now because they can be viewed as an offensive weapon that can penetrate Russian territory whereas the Biden effort focuses on those weapons systems like anti-aircraft missiles that are purely defensive and can't be misconstrued or misstated as offensive as a pretext for Russia to either enlarge its war effort or to engage NATO. Additionally, most of the damage done to Ukraine is from missile strikes and artillery emanating from ground units. Stiil, higher altitude anti-aircraft missile systems are being deployed in Ukraine. So, unless Russia changes tactics and reverts primarily to an air campaign, the enhancement of its defensive air capabilities makes the most sense.
What doesn't make sense, however, is for the GOP reps to vote against current efforts to bolster Ukraine's ability to defend itself...

If it is as you said that he didn't want to offend Putin, then that proves what a coward Joe Biden is and Yes for Russ I have decided to forego my previous thought on playing nice, when all the left does it play vile and criticize any Republican that doesn't go lockstep with supporting Every nonsensical Biden move.

So then I thought Biden told us all during the election run up that Vlad Putin would FEAR Biden.

Really?  Biden is the one running scared.

He's the one who's playing catch up with the EU.  He's leading from Behind.

Why?

Because Biden is a paper tiger.
I know you can't deal with reality but the fact is, the MIG 29s in question originate from Poland which is a sovereign country and Biden can't "veto" what they want to do. If Poland decides to fly them directly to Ukraine or allow Ukrainian pilots access to their planes, then that is a decision that is made by the government of Poland.

General Kellogg:

"If they want a BB gun, give them a BB gun, if they want a rock, give them a rock. If they want air defense, give them an air defense. And for God's sake, give them MiGs too! Poland wants to give them up," he said.
Kellogg is a retired army officer and not an airforce officer. Here's what a former air force captain has to say:
