Big Oil Rakes It In!

Do you know anything but what you think a link might be saying? Apparently not.
"As crude prices surge, oil companies are raking in money -- enormous profits gained from practically no extra investment."
"They do not want to drill more"
That's what the link states, Mel. They're making extreme profits and they don't have to go anywhere else and they don't have to do anything else to have it.  But, in your brain, it's somehow still not easy enough for them. Freakin unbelievable!

I'll add to that my personal opinion on what the oil companies are doing besides reaping in record profits. I think they're setting the stage for the Republicans to regain control so they can receive additional incentives for more drilling and slowly decrease the costs of gasoline over time to make America more dependent upon them for our energy needs. It's a question of sustainability for them. They see the GOP enabling them and making us more dependent upon them versus alternative forms of energy.
So, they cleanup up by making record profits now while the GOP insures their sustainability in the future...

"As crude prices surge, oil companies are raking in money -- enormous profits gained from practically no extra investment."
"Both the United States and United Kingdom have imposed windfall profit taxes in the past in with broad political support"
And:
"Oil and gas companies do not want to drill more," Pavel Molchanov, an analyst at Raymond James, said recently. "They are under pressure from the financial community to pay more dividends, to do more share buybacks instead of the proverbial 'drill baby drill,' which is the way they would have done things 10 years ago. Corporate strategy has fundamentally changed."

So, you'll just pay more!...

I have to wonder how that goes over with Marjorie Taylor Greene and her supporters in Georgia...

Gee, the things that Liberals, Leftists, and Greenies never consider

The average warranty on a car with these batteries is 8 years/100,000 miles while the average life expectancy of the battery itself is 10-20 years.
I don't think too many of the owners are sweating it...

Ok, so then tell me, what will that do to the retail cost and manufacturing of electric cars in the future?
If the battery fails under warranty, it's replaced under warranty. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
I expect the cost of electric cars to decrease in the future as more are made by car manufacturers as they move production from gas to electric vehicles. The more supply, the less demand and the lower the costs.

Actually, the car manufacturers have made that decision and not the government...

And that's why there's a waiting list on virtually all electric vehicles?...
