Finally I get to try out my Herschel Wedge on a nice set of sunspots.

The F/R of the Mars image is about twice the Saturn image, just showing how small Mars has gotten.

Hi all,

April is typically my best month out here for imaging the planets. This year hasn't been as good as the past as we have had the jetstream dip lower than usual. However, in times of decent seeing I have done ok. Here is an image From April 14.

M81 and M53

It's been a while since I've had anything to post, but I've been working on these two. M81 looks ok to me, M53 was shot when the moon was nearby. Making some progress.
