Thoughts of Victor David Hanson: Demise of Democrats

IF the Epoch Times went away tomorrow, his columns would still be printed on every other news site that buys his columns.

That's just how DUMB you are.
So they pay him to publish his works but he doesn't work for them. And, as a freelance "journalist", he's free to pick and choose who he sells his columns to and the Epoch Times is his choice and its their choice to buy and publish what he's selling, for good reason, their reason...

Yeah DS he works for himself.

In all of your ignorance before, you implied that he writes FOR the Epoch Times and specifically writes an article FOR that paper which they title "Viewpoints".

And of course you were wrong as usual.

Let me reiterate and maybe you can remove that pile of shit that you refer to as your "brain" out of your head and replace it with an actual brain.

As I said previously, IF the Epoch Times went away tomorrow, VDH would still be writing his columns and he'd still be putting them on his blog and the dozens of other Newspapers that publish his work would still be purchasing them.

Insert head slap here.
So at the end of the tax year, and even if Epoch Times went away today, the work that he's done as an independent contractor or as a freelancer and gotten paid for by the Epoch Times needs to be reported as work-income along with the source of that income. And since the Epoch Times isn't going anywhere, it's a safe bet we'll continue to see  his columns under their "Viewpoints" feature in their outlet for the work that they've paid him for that's obviously being published because it matches their own point of view, so much for "viewpoints" other than their own...

You're just being 1 of 2 things:

1.  So stupid that words aren't in the in the English Language to describe just how stupid you are. I'm going to have to look up new words to come to a more accurate assessment of your utter idiocy.

or

2.  Just a bloviating buffoon.

I build various products for people.  I sell them all over the place.

I'm not employed by these people and some have sent me a 1099 at the end of the year.

You must have worked for other people who sign your paycheck your entire life since you haven't the vaguest idea of what an independent contractor is.

Have you ever signed a paycheck in your life?

I use to build medical Carts for Hitachi's 405 Ultrasound machine.  People would contact me for the carts, placing orders and I would send them and they would pay me. Numbers of those customers would send me 1099s at the end of the year.  Many did not.  It was up to me to report my income to the IRS.

Those many dealerships who bought my products and resold them around the world were not my employer either.

Your idiocy is tantamount to saying that Amazon "works for me" and that I employ them when I buy their products.

You're simply an abject idiot.
I have no doubt that the income he receives is reported as earned income that's reported by the Epoch Times, either as payment as an independent contractor, employer, or freelancer, both by the Epoch Times and by him and any other another opinion commentator  chosen by Epoch Times to deliver their message.

Who's on trial here, huh? It's a lawyer pleading not guilty to lying to the FBI and not Hillary Clinton. Who pleaded guilty twice to lying to the FBI and was subsequently pardoned by Trump, Michael Flynn. Trump also pardoned a litany of convicts: his former campaign manager Paul Manafort, political operative Roger Stone, his daughter's father in law, Charles Kushner, and Fox's "Judge" Jeanine Pirro's (Ex) Hubby, to name a FEW! Given all that, I think Biden ought to pardon anyone associated with this trial...

I knew it, sooner or later, the true response on Russia invading Ukraine, as echoed by the extremists in the Republican party, becomes Greg's mantra, too! And he was one of the outraged on the forum when I even suggested a con or two might not side with Ukraine!

You'll have to ask Greg that but if you read his responses it's highly doubtful it would be anything close to either figure and whatever it might be it would likely be too much, America being first and all... The G7 countries are sending about 20 billion in aid as of a few days ago. I wonder if Greg wants that, too.
And here I expected a question from Mel along the lines of "why didn't we get it there earlier"...

Does anyone think Mel knows better than the Republican led committee?
