Well, let me see, Trump was told by his attorney general, Bill Barr,  that his claims of election fraud were "Bullshit". Ivanka Trump acknowledged she believes Bill Barr. Sean Hannity's texts about stopping the nonsense from Trump about the election being stolen and the crazy people who were around Trump who were doing the same thing was shared by the committee. Trump's data point person informed the Trump team that there was no evidence of election fraud. All of which means Trump knew and knows that his big lie is just that and yet he persisted in inculcating it into the crowd on Jan 6th. The violence and mayhem that followed was then described by an officer who experienced it along with ample video evidence of it.  A number of GOP congressmen pressed Trump for pardons for their support of him and the election fraud lies leading up to the insurrection. That's just for starters...

You must have been taking a potty break when the perps were breaking down barricades and smashing through windows with riot shields they stole from police...

"Most in new poll support legal action against elected officials who attempt to overturn election results"
"The majority of Americans said that the Department of Justice (DOJ) should bring legal action against officials who mislead the public about the outcome of an election, according to a new poll from Morning Consult and Politico."

Another goofball response from Mel since it doesn't matter what either one of us thinks as to what constitutes "proof". That's up to the DOJ and an attorney general in Georgia to evaluate and ultimately a judge and jury to decide.

Really, that's all that happened? What about the ones who have pleaded guilty to seditious conspiracy?

OK!
Yeah Mel, I do think it's up to the DOJ and an attorney general in Georgia to evaluate the evidence of Trump's attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election and, ultimately, it's up to a judge and jury on whether or not to convict. I guess you haven't been comprehending the January 6 commission hearings, either...

No, they're waiting on the results of public hearings and the findings of a grand jury...

What!? I noted some have pleaded guilty for seditious conspiracy so what is your point and source of confusion? That has nothing to do with the other posts regarding your nonsensical responses/comments.

Care to name those cases wherein they did so? What, the suspects didn't have attorneys and/or weren't advised of their rights? Maybe in your world of alternate reality...

Jared Kushner

Well, I for one was relieved to know that one of Trump's last official acts was to grant a pardon to Fox News hostess, "Judge" Jeanine's (ex)husband after Jeanine called to ask. I doubt it went through Jared though, I think Jeanine, at the time, had Donald on speed dial...
