Now, let me give you an idea of how it's going with Pelosi and energy costs in California. As you may know, California has the highest gas prices in the nation and that's due to the highest gasoline tax in the nation. That's your first clue. Pelosi has rejected the idea of having a state tax holiday on gas because she thinks the oil companies *might* not pass the savings on to the consumer so don't even try. That's your second clue. Additionally, California gas taxes are going up another 3 cents/gallon on July 1st! That's your third clue. Additionally, two Democratic assemblymen are trying to reduce the governor's plan to provide a $800.00 gas rebate for two vehicles to $200.00 and neither will budge so we have no rebate at all. So, I wouldn't want to be taking advice from Pelosi on this matter...
