Jupiter August 21, 2008 with one shot with my 5"

Hi all,

Here is a Jupiter on August 21 in average conditions. Just for jollies I shot an image with my TOA-130 (5.1" APO) at F/44 for comparison.

Hi all,

Average seeing again, but a nice GRS placing. I know there is a way to align a moon separate from the planet, but I'm not sure how....oh well...

Hi all,

Here are a couple images of Jupiter from August 27. I tried an experiment by doing a 1.2x enlargement in Registax on each layer before combining, so the final images are 1.2x larger than the original. Conditions were a bit above average.

Hi all,

Here are a couple of Jupiter shot about an hour apart showing rotation and moon motions. Ganymede is to the left of Jupiter and Io to the right in the final frame.
