Good choices you will be very happy with either one of these scopes. I have owned the TMB 130mm f/6 and was very happy with it. I have a couple of friends who own the TOA 130 and it is a very nice scope also. I truly believe that these scopes are close in optical quality, with the TMB edging out the TOA in color correction. I am a TMB fan because I am convinced that Markus and Thomas collaborated to develop some of the best scopes available. My biggest complaint with the Takahashi brand is that I believe they are a proprietary brand and you need to, almost exclusively, buy and use their accessories for use with their scopes. Some people have to complain about everything, and especially things they don't understand. When I sell something I consider my prices fair, not cheap or to hgh but I obviously want to make as much money back as possible on the item. So when I list it on Astromart and include Paypal as an option for payment, I let interested buyers know that there will be a minimum of a 3.5% Paypal fee associated with the sale. What people don't understand is that my fee is based on my monthly totals, more I sell less I pay. Well my fees range from 2.9% - 4.9% plus a $0.30 per transaction fee. And this does not include foreign exchange fees for currency exchanges. I myself will usually pay with a money order or personal check, because I do not like paying the fees to Paypal. :S

You guys crack me up! But seriously, it is very sad when you start to realize that no one running for any governmental position is qualified, or doing it for the right reason. It seems, as I have gotten older, that I have started to realize that the ones who win are the ones who spend 100 times more than they will make it that position. Very sad and disheartening.
