The white ones are quite common in captivity but this is the first i've seen of the dark one. Any ideas??

Here is a film shot from Saturday night from my fairly urban (light poluted) back yard. It is a single 45 minute shot on Fuji Provia 400 slide film, IDAS-LPS filter, scanned from the print and a quicky through PS.

6" F5 newt on a G11.

Had to try out my new toy. :-) Canon Digital Rebel and kit lens. Lens seems to be a little soft but is OK.
Target was my wife's Valentine day bouquet. I used a +4 closeup filter on this one.
