Hi Ido -

I don't have experience with Schuller filters but their coating process may have something to do with the patterns you see. I'd try to contact Schuller. Good luck with it.

I'm also still waiting for my bearing from Rick. There have been a few posts from folk who received their bearings after a long delay so he appears to be making an effort.
A medical problem knocked him out of commission so I'm still waiting patiently. He's been a very solid contrbutor to Astromart forums and has sold a variety of interesting astro stuff in a very timely manner. I give him the benefit of the doubt -- could really use the bearing though.
Let's hope he's well enough soon to conclude the bearing issue and get back to active participation in Astromart affairs.

I was hoping to get by with just buying the 2" Infinity Autocollimator and continuing to use my Tectron tools for pre autocollimator work. Is it your impression that the other CatsEye tools are better enough that the additional expense is worth it?

Your Jupiter is beautiful. A question though -- is the bluish margin along the right side a processing artefact or is it something that comes with your optical chain?
