Really, who's trying to blame the Dems for deleting messages from secret service phones?!

Roberts Tried/Failed To Save Abortion Rights

"It's getting worse, faster". That's the result of the SCOTUS ruling. Just look at what this Republican prick of an AG in Indiana is doing:

Add that to McConnell's statement that a national abortion ban is possible, presumably if the GOP takes control, the quoted statement will be an understatement...

It might take an R house, a filibuster-proof R Senate and an R president to pass a reasonable national abortion law like France has.  You guys would act as if any restriction was the end of the world of course, but it would be the best compromise possible for pro-life and pro-choice partisans.

Did you read the article you posted?  Either the Dr. violated the disclosure laws and privacy laws or she did not.  Her employer (one of my alma maters) supports her.  If she complied with the laws, the no problem.  Or maybe you would prefer that the rule of law be abdicated in these circumstances?  Jim

I've been following this case since it was first reported. The doctor followed the law and that's why your alma mater supports her. Ever heard of malicious prosecution?

He has a lot of pull, now doesn't he:

But, as noted in the above link, when you're coming up against the likes of a handmaiden like Amy Coney Barrett, "of whom Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham declared during her confirmation hearing: "This is the first time in American history that we've nominated a woman who's unashamedly pro-life and embraces her (Roman Catholic) faith without apology", you're pretty much toast particularly when you've got Thomas activerly crusading for overturning Roe years before he ever heard the case...

Chris Cillizza:  "I was laughing to myself with the 'in my view' thing. Like in my view, I should be drafted to the NBA," Cillizza mocked.

I am almost embarrassed for you.  Only YOU would come on here and try to redefine facts.  You're a joke.  LOL
And the guys from Schwab and Bank of America are lying too?
"...some Wall Street analysts are hoping, the National Bureau of Economic Research will officially determine we're in a recession and allow markets to break the dread cycle.
"The sooner we get the recession, the better," said Kevin Gordon, senior investment research manager at Charles Schwab.
Although that may seem counter-intuitive, pulling forward the recession's start date would ultimately be a positive for investors, Gordon said. That's because a recession would mean the turning point for stocks is closer rather than further away, and that the bottom is closer than we think."
"Bank of America analysts, meanwhile, predict a "mild recession" will begin this year in the United States and will abate by 2023."

If only they and the rest of the stock market would consult Rich, he'd already tell them what they want to hear...

The new way the left chooses to lie.  They simply redefine terms and their seals tend to clap along and the sheep among them begin to Baaahh like the sheep that they are.
Rich can't get it through his head that the pundits on CNN or those in any administration don't make the call, the National Bureau of Economic Research does. And they haven't made it yet. So no one is lying except in Rich's black and white with no shades of grey mindset.

In general, I agree with your comments although in Rich's case, he lied and denied that we had a recession when Trump was in office...

Powell doesn't think we're in a recession:
https://www.cnn.com/videos/business/2022/07/27/matt-egan-jerome-powell-federal-reserve-rate-hike-analysis-nr-vpx.cnn/video/playlists/business-economy/
"The general takeaway is the economy is slowing, and that's what the [Federal Reserve] wants," said Ryan Sweet, who leads real-time economics at Moody's Analytics. "We're not in a recession."

I can't figure the market either but I'm staying with it!...
