Cruz and other Senators retreated to a back room, because the Capitol Police told them to get out of the Senate Chambers. 

I realize that your first instinct would be to find the nearest skirt or pantsuit and use that woman as a shield, but I'll ask again, where should a prudent person Go?

I have no doubt that the headline writers (p.s. and Rod, see immediately above) want to conjure an image of Cruz cowering like a child in a dark closet.  It appears that a more accurate version of events is that the Capital Police directed Cruz and others to a secure back room, (a closet actually) where he had a meeting with like-minded Senators while waiting the riot out.  They obviously had a lot to talk and worry about.  

The media bias does not bother me nearly as much as it bothers you.  The Guardian is well known to be left of center and is obviously anti-Cruz.  It is relatively easy to just consider the source and presume that outlets like the Guardian will paint Cruz in as bad a light as they think they can get away with.  Same with right leaning or hard right outlets, but obviously in the other direction. 

For what it is worth, I wish that the media was without political bias and that there were outlets where you could trust the media to vigorously and honestly pursue the truth on political topics, no mater where it leads.  On a lot of topics, I do trust the media.  Just not on politics.  I wish it were not this way, but as Mike Rosen often said, I wish I was taller too!  Jim

Aside from his obvious inability to form cogent sentences, which indicates in spades, his inability to serve as a United States Senator, making decisions in Congress which will affect the entire nation is his far left agenda which is complete whack job nuts.

His cognitive abilities are extremely impaired and he couldn't make a decision on his own to save his life at this point.

But as I said, the Democrats don't give a shit about his health, all they care about is power.  They always have and they always will.  

At this point, he's done, unless the early voting in Penn. puts him over the top.
