Oh and let me explain yet again how obtuse you are since the obvious points of the links show how equivocal your source is when it comes to climate change, just more of the same climate denialism...

SCOTUS To Hear Harper V. Moore Next Week

Oral arguments are under way in what may be the most pivotal case ever heard on the future of democracy in America.
PS: I hope Alito is at least coherent today...

SCOTUS To Hear Harper V. Moore Next Week

Interestingly, one of the founders of the Federalist Society, among other conservatives, filed an amicus advising the court to throw the nonsense out:

So it appears the Federalist Society has at least some rational, sane people within its ranks, at least for now...

Hopefully it'll go the way Jim suspects it will. Given the maximalist theory of the Republicans though, it seems like the cons on the court may try to salvage or apportion it so it still potentially packs a significant wallop on democracy. The Brennan center says there's is no "lite" version of this submission by the GOP so I hope and pray it is rejected in totality by a majority of the court...

"The debunked “independent state legislature theory” is on the Supreme Court’s docket, with potentially disastrous consequences."

It's a bad dream that they even accepted this case. It'll be a nightmare if they decide in favor of the bogus theory.

Typical Rich Davis HS on a topic he's already posted about and has been thorough debunked. If the individuals named in the outrage link don't choose to respond, it's likely because they don't feel it's worth a response and/or they don't want to give oxygen to this nonsense...

Funny how prominent Republicans don't see it the same way Rich does:
"Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) told reporters Monday that he “couldn’t disagree more” with former President Trump’s call to terminate parts of the Constitution in order to be reinstated president and said such comments present “a golden opportunity” for Trump’s rivals in 2024."
