I remember every aspect of that day, especially driving to the Grand Canyon the next day with the worst sunburned back I've ever had. It was 114ºF and we didn't stay in the raft too much but floated along with it with most of our bodies in the water. Probably didn't feel the sunburn until we sobered up a bit, the beers were going down easy and often that day.Originally Posted by Richard Davis
BTW Jim, very cool photos of you guys. I have a friend who used to take all kinds of photos when we were in our late teens, and early 20s and he sends them to the rest of us now and then. It is fun to look at them, and see how we all have changed I'm glad that you have photos to remember him.

We're doing the same thing. I have a turkey grilling on my Big Green Egg and I'm out in my garage making some replacement cedar doors for our 20 y/o hot tub. About to get some early indigestion as I'm going in now and watch the start of the Lions game.
