My best examples, general pre-covid anti-vax sentiment because of the anti-scientific fear of autism, and fear of GMO foods are not benign "fear of aging" things by the way. Thousands of children in the third world starve and suffer from preventable nutritional diseases because of fear of GMOs. Europe is worse than us. If the GMOs are banned, they can not be exported to the third world.

I'm not sure if the vaccine-autism connection is a good example of left wing bias of some sort. I thought that was emanating from conservative religious groups or individuals.
Obviously, greenpeace is wrong on GMOs but its the countries themselves that will decide this issue and not them.
In general, some of the fruit loops you've described next to you in Colorado may be cuckoo for coco puffs but they're generally harmless. Contrast that with those who fly A-15 flags on their poles and run up to the back hills in Georgia or elsewhere to shoot-up silhouettes of human beings on their weekends and think that's normal human behavior.
Finally, in addition to 63% of Republicans who still think the election was stolen, 53% of them say they don't care if THEIR candidate doesn't have electability; it only matters that the candidate reflects THEIR views...
