Trump seems to be positioning himself as the darling of two groups.  The first is those who think the January 6 Capital riots were a totally acceptable protest in view of a stolen election.  There are not enough of those folks to get Trump the nomination.

Anyway, I worry that the press/Trump affair will strengthen him.  It certainly did when he was elected.
Well Jim, this is a political forum so yeah, there's going to be quite a bit of discussion on Trump. And he is the subject of multiple investigations so, yeah, it's going to be a topic of conversation. And yeah Jim, the news outlets, all of 'em, are gonna be covering Trump since he IS the leading candidate for the GOP nomination so your statements seem to be a bit flippant to me...

And, following the Trump playbook, he'll probably appeal all the way to the supreme court in order to delay everything as much as he can...
